Preparing For Going Back To School!♥
Hello chicas! Its Jessica! [ @xjess4evax ]
So school is starting soon where I live so I think this may be helpful for some of you also!

Sleep Schedule:
Let's face it, we all like to stay up at night during the summer, but when it comes to school sleep is important. I suggest starting everyday to go to bed 15 minutes earlier that way when you start school you will be back on track to your regular sleeping time.

Supplies:
I like to go school supplies shopping weeks early because you can get better things that may be out of stock by the time it's almost time for school.

Eating a good breakfast:
You should always eat a good breakfast before every school day!

Getting back into the groove of things:
Let's face it the first couple days back to school are sometimes very painful. Just stay positive and try not to complain and your days won't be so bad.

Going to a new school?:
Don't worry! You will meet a ton of new people, which means a fresh start!(:

Well Hope this helped!

D.I.Y Lace Earrings
These earrings are really cute and easy to make! Hope you like them.

All you need is:

a bunch of ribbons

lot's of different lace trims

a glue gun

and ball hook earrings

These are sterling silver and work so great for sensitive ears.

1. cut out your lace trim

2. take some pliers and open the ball on your earring. ( i have a tiny little set of 3 jewelry pliers i got at joanns for like $6. they work great!)

3. take the end of your pliers or a pin and make a hole in your lace trim where you will want your lace trim to hang from.

4. put your earring through the hole.

5. close your earring ball to secure the lace.
make two bows out of your ribbon and hot glue them to your lace trim.
that's it!

How to do a Rosestem Braid

How to do a Rosestem Braid
Here is a fresh new braid for your hair this summer! :)

The Rosestem is basically a classic, half of which is pinned up, half of which is left down. In this example, I demonstrate a Twist Rosestem. I suggest checking the classic braid instructions if you have difficulty following these.
Directions:
Learn to braid a classic and a twist.
Part the hair front to back, as for a classic.
Clip off half the hair.
Gather a section of hair about 2-2.5 inches long at the front of the hair, parallel to the part.
Split the section into the required number of strands. For this example, two.

Twist the individual strands towards the face.

Cross the strands over each other away from the face.

Gather another section of hair and add it to the strand which is farther from the face.

Gather a section of hair and add it to the strand closer to the face.

Twist both strands towards the face, then cross them over away from the face.

Begin to angle the sections you gather so that you take up more hair at the bottom than the top, causing the section lines to gradually turn roughly parallel to the part.

Add hair until there is no more hair to add.
Continue to twist and cross over the sections in the same directions as you've been doing until you come to the end of the hair. Tie off the braid.
Note: Twisting one way and crossing over the other way is what keeps the twist together.

Repeat instructions 6-13 on the other side of the head.
Note: This means you'll be twisting and crossing over in the opposite direction.
Cross the right hand braid under the left hand braid.

Twist right-hand braid mentioned above to the left to make the cross-overs tighter.
Roll the braid from the end of the braid inward, then place the bun above the left-hand braid. Make sure the left-hand braid is centered, so it looks like it is a continuation of the right-hand braid.

Pin the bun in at least four places so that it feels secure to the braidee.

Note: Remember to pin by catching a little hair from the lower outside of the bun, down to the scalp to pick up some hair, then back into the bun.
Voila - a twist Rosestem braid.

Lace Braid

Lace Braid
This braid may seem hard so don't get mad if you cant do it the first time you try it.

Terms to Know:
To cut out wordiness, I have decided to name the webbed area between the fingers.
Slot 1 is between the thumb and index fingers.
Slot 2 is between the index and middle fingers.
Slot 3 is between the middle and ring fingers.
Slot 4 is between the ring and little fingers.
Right and left hands will be denoted by a capital R or L after the slot number. For example, 1R is between the thumb and index finger of the right hand.
Directions:
Part the hair from the front of the crown to the top of the ear. Start the part a little farther forward than it looks like I'm doing.

Clip off the hair to keep it separated, either the front or the back part.
Part the same way on the other side, creating a part the runs all the way across the head in a straight line.

Clip the entire back section of hair together and free the front half if it was clipped.
Brush the loose hair over the head towards you.
Collect a section of hair at the side of the head farthest from you, and divide it into three strands.
Braid right over middle, left over middle.

Put all three strands in your left hand, with the far left in 1L, middle in 2L and far right in either 3 or 4L.
Gather another section of hair, running all the way from the front of the head to the part, and add it to the strand in 3/4L.
Braid right over middle while pulling the braid gently over the part. This won't have a noticeable effect at first.

Braid left over middle without adding a section of hair, but still pulling the braid gently over the part.
Continue to add sections on the right but not on the left, gently pulling the braid over the part.
Continue the braid as a simple 3-strand once you have run out of hair to add to the braid.
Tie off the end of the braid.
